Vattenfall is Europe’s sixth largest generator of electricity and the largest generator of heat. We currently have operations in Denmark, Finland, Germany, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Sweden.

Vattenfall is active at all stages of the electricity value chain – generation, distribution and sales. Vattenfall also generates, distributes and sells heat, and conducts energy trading and lignite mining. The parent company, Vattenfall AB, is wholly owned by the Swedish state.
